Mrs. Kimberly Stansell has lived in Richmond her whole life. She graduated from The Collegiate Schools and then went on to Longwood College to pursue her lifelong dream of teaching. There she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics and her Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
While at Longwood she was president of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, and a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She is certified to teach nursery school through eighth grade. She taught 7 years for Hanover County Public Schools before stepping away to become a stay at home mom. She’s been actively substituting for Henrico County Public Schools for the past 3 years. She and her husband live in Henrico County and have three children.
